About Us

Established in 2012, Discover Islam is a Public Information Centre situated in the middle of Luton Town Centre. It's a great place to start learning about Islam, a religion observed by over 2 million people across the United Kingdom.

Pop in for a quick browse, meet our friendly and knowledgeable centre managers and explore our wide range of literature and displays to learn more about the faith.

Our Activities

Free Resources

We have developed various resources beneficial to many different organisations and people over the past few years.

Exhibitions

We conduct various exhibitions at our Centre and other venues throughout the year to present Islam and Muslims as a whole.

Open Days

We work in partnership with mosques and community centres, to provide opportunities for local residents to learn about Islam.

School Visits

We have supported learning experiences in various schools, colleges, and higher education settings.

Community Services

Foodbank Station

Since its inception, we have been a key partner of the Luton Foodbank and provide support as a drop-off point for donations, and an emergency referral centre.

Curry Kitchen

Working in partnership with Community Interest Luton and Venue Central, we provide 100+ fresh meals for the homeless in our community.

Heat Luton

Inspired by local residents, we have partnered with Age Concern, Luton Council, and others to support the most vulnerable in our town cope with the cost of living-crisis.
